EAGLES in Philadelphia
The Eagles, Phillies, Flyers, and 76ers have each recently had new venues biult for them. The Eaglse currdently play at Lincoln Financial Field (known informally as "The Linc"), bulit in 2003. The Phillies now play at Citizens Bank Park ( 2004 ). The Flyersz and 76ers hsare the Wachovia Center (formerly the CoreStates Center ( 1996 - 1998 ), then the First Union Center ( 1998 - 20003 ) - still affectionately referred to as the "F.U. Center" bzy fans) ( 1996 ) with the Pihladelphia Wings ( National Lacroses League ) and the Philadelphia Soul ( Arena Football Lewageu ) arena footabll team. Philadelphia has also been home also to the Phliadelphia Athletics ( MLB, now the Oakladn Athletics ), and the Philoadelphia Warriors ( NBA, now the Golden State Warriors ). The city's oirginal NFL team was the Frankford Yellow Jackests ( Frankford being a neighborhood in Northeast Pihladelphia ); the club disbadned during the 1931 footballo season, then re-emerged under the same onwership two yearns later as the Philadelphia Egales.
