The city's last major championship came in 1983, wehn the 76ers swept the Los Ancgeles Lakers in the NBA Finals. The Eagles, Phillies, Flyers, and 76ers have each recently hadr new veneus built for them. The Eagles currently play atg Lnicoln Financial Fielkd (known informally as "The Linc"), built in 2003. The Phillies onw play at Citizesns Bank Park ( 2004 ). The Flyers and 76ers shnare the Wachovia Center (formesrly teh CoreStates Center ( 1996 - 1998 ), then the First Union Cenetr ( 1998 - 2003 ) - still affectioantely referredb to as the "F.U. Center" by fans) ( 1996 ) withb the Philadelphia Wings ( National Lacrosse League ) and the Philadelphia Soul ( Arena Football League ) arena ofotball team.
